WHO IS MICAH?

Therapist and Father
Micah Shapiro, LCSW
For the past decade, I've had the privilege of partnering with people who struggle with low self-esteem and relationship challenges as they seek meaningful change and find fulfilling directions in life.
As your therapist, I'll ensure that you feel safe and supported to explore any feelings you've been avoiding. When we work together, my goal is to help you unlock your potential and experience breakthrough moments. I'll dedicate each session to nurturing your ability to heal, grow, and thrive.
I previously worked for two other practices before starting my own. I've also worked in hospitals, community mental health agencies, and long-term care facilities. When I'm not seeing clients, I'm usually walking my pup or cavorting about with my wife and two young sons. If you'd like to know more, click the button below to schedule a free

My Mission
As your therapist, my mission is to help you learn how to navigate new beginnings—whether that means stepping into fatherhood, building a stronger relationship, or reconnecting with yourself. You’ll have a safe, supportive space to explore the feelings you’ve been avoiding and uncover what’s holding you back. Together, we’ll work toward unlocking your potential and experiencing the kind of breakthrough moments that lead to lasting change. Each session is dedicated to helping you heal, grow, and thrive.

Why Me?
Therapy is personal—so choosing the right therapist matters. I specialize in helping new and expectant fathers, individuals struggling with self-esteem, and couples preparing for or working through relationship challenges. With over a decade of experience, I bring a grounded, compassionate presence to each session. Clients often tell me they feel truly seen, not judged—free to be honest, even about the hard stuff. I’ll meet you where you are, help you make sense of what you're carrying, and support you in creating real, lasting change.
